Bhopal: The Railway Police on Sunday rescued 14 minors hailing from Bihar, from Mumbai bound ‘Dadar-Amritsar Pathankot Express’ here.

The police have arrested two persons identified as Lakshman Jadhav and Udham Mahto, both belonging to Bihar.

Acting on a tip off from an NGO, the Bhopal railway police carried a search operation and rescued the children mostly in the age group of 13-14 years.

During the questioning, the accused said that the children were being taken to Mumbai after their parents’ approval for working in poultry farms, sources said.

However, the police are suspecting the involvement of Bihar based human trafficking racket in the entire episode.
