New Delhi: In the passing out parade of Border Security Force at Chhawla Camp premises, 193 new jawans took the oath on Friday. The jawans were handed over the responsibility of ensuring safety on the borders. Commandant Sanjay Pant received the parade salute and awarded the jawans for exceptional performance.

During the event, the BSF officials said, the jawans of batch number 83 were provided nine-month training at the camp.

Boosting the morale of jawans, Commandant Pant said, “The carrier chosen by the jawans is not any trade or job but is an oath of service to the nation.”
Girls from various schools of Kashmir also arrived to watch the parade as the BSF is organizing India tour of the girl students of Jammu and Kashmir. Councilor Rajpal Shokeen also provided financial aid to the students.  Najafgarh Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner CR Garg was also present on the occasion.
