Indore: Expediting its probe into 2007 Samjhauta Express blast, the National Investigative Agency (NIA) on Saturday arrested one suspected person during the search operation for Ramji Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange, key accused in the case.

The suspected accused has been identified as Kamal Chouhan. He was detained from Depalpur Tehsil of Indore.

While the CBI and the NIA has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for credible information of absconding Ramji and Sandeep, the Rajasthan ATS has announced a reward of Rs one lakh for the same.

According to sources, currently Ramji and Sandeep are residing in Indore.

Notably, the NIA had already charged Swami Aseemanand, Sadhvi Pragya, Sunil Joshi (now dead), Sandeep Dange, Lokesh Sharma and Ramchandra Kalasangra alias Ramji for triggering the explosions in the Samjhauta Express.

The investigative agency,probing the Samjhauta blast since July 2010, is also investigating Malegaon blast, Mecca Masjid blast, Ajmer blast and Modasa blast cases.

Sixty-eight people were killed when bombs were set off in two coaches of Samjhauta Express,running between Delhi and Lahore, around midnight on February 18, 2007, at Diwana near Panipat in Haryana.
