"Upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be a contest between BJP and AAP,” he said. Kejriwal also said that the Congress stands nowhere in the picture. “Congress will not be a factor," he added.

"People have two options. On a side there is BJP which has many members with corruption charges and on the other side there is AAP. This election will be contested between these two perceptions," he said.

Meanwhile, reacting to his statement, BJP leader Smriti Irani said that Kejriwal must remember that he became the Chief Minister of Delhi with support of Congress.

"Kejriwal must realize that after the 2014 elections, BJP will come to power and Narendra Modi will be the Prime Minister of our country,” she said.

The rise of AAP has given a new twist to the current political scenario in the nation. Kejriwal-led AAP is in power in Delhi with Congress' (outside) support.
