Gandhinagar: The three-day Vibrant Gujarat Summit is expected to see participation of 1,800 delegates from around 105 countries, a top official said.
    
Tata Group's new Chairman Cyrus Mistry and Ministers from Canada and Mauritius will be among prominent faces at the valedictory session of the summit, the official said.
    
"Ministers from partner country Japan will be there at the inaugural ceremony of Summit. Besides, a delegation of MPs from another partner country Canada...Japan's ambassador and who's who of Indian industry shall also be present," Principal Secretary (Industry and Mines) Maheshwar Sahu told reporters.
    
Canada's Minister of Immigration will be the chief guest at the valedictory session which will be attended by Mistry and a Minister from Mauritius, among others, he said.
    
"We have five major partner organisations this year. Large delegation participation is expected from Europe, US, Canada and Japan for more global outreach," Sahu said.
    
The Government also expects participation from 22 Indian states, including Maharashtra and Rajasthan, and more than 50,000 domestic delegates during the mega event.
    
"We expect participation from 22 states and over 50,000 domestic delegates. The participants can hold business 2 government meetings," Sahu said.
