Nashik:  Atleast 22 students of a Zila Parishad primary school fell ill due to suspected food poisoning after they consumed mid-day meals, police said on Wednesday.
The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon when students from grade I-IV complained of uneasiness and vomiting after eating the rice and vegetable provided under government's nutrition food scheme, they said.
Some students were treated at a private hospital in Rajapur. About 17 of them were later shifted to Nagarsul rural hospital, they said.
The condition of all the victims is now stable, they added.
