Muzaffarpur: Around twenty-three naxalites including dreaded Lalan Paswan on Sunday laid down their arms before the police in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district.

Tirhut Division Commissioner SK Negi promised to provide all assistance to surrendered Maoists under the Naxal Reform Package to enable them to join the mainstream.

According to the police, Maoists handed over 14 rifles, six country-made pistols and 100 live cartridges.
