Munger:  Twenty-seven suspected Maoists were on Monday taken into custody during a joint combing operation at Bhim Bandh forest in Bihar's Munger district.

Six landmines were located and defused in the forest along with 40 kgs IED during the operation, Superintendent of Police Kanan said.

Special task force of Bihar Police and CRPF personnel besides district armed police personnel carried out the joint combing operations, he added.
