New Delhi: In a recent development in the 2G spectrum case, the CBI has informed a special court of the Patiala House that all the accused in the case would be given the tele talk transcripts of corporate lobbyist Niira Radia who is allegedly involved in the scam. The CBI move is likely to stir up the hornet’s nest. The tele talk transcripts would be handed to the accused people on July 12. 

The tapes have the details of telephonic conversations of Radia with many personalities from media and other sectors. Even though the investigation agency had issued only few of the parts of the conversation, but the aforesaid move by the CBI may unveil many other names involved in the scam.

CBI Counsel AK Singh told Patiala House special court, “We will supply Radia's tapes to the accused on July 12." He said the agency would also supply some additional documents on that day.

Some of the accused told the Court on Wednesday that though the hearing was to start soon, the CBI has not provided then any documents or the transcripts of Radia’s conversation.

However, the CBI has highlighted that few of the documents were not of any use to the accused.
