New Delhi: Government is considering various options, including making a Presidential Reference to the Supreme Court, in the aftermath of the verdict cancelling 122 2G licenses.

"No decision has been taken at this point. All options are open. By the end of this week, we will decide," Department of Telecom R Chandrasekhar said.

Though the official refused to get into the details, the government is understood to be not keen on filing a review petition against the verdict. Instead, it may leave the issue to the firms concerned.

The sources said the government was considering the option of making a reference to the Supreme Court to get its views on auctioning of natural resources and the best way to go about it.
