New Delhi: Arch rivals India and Pakistan are all set for the second ODI clash at the Historic Eden Gardens on Thursday. Though Indian lost the first ODI played at Chennai, cricketing experts have termed the tournament as a clash between India’s batting strength and Pakistan’s bowling.

India is already trailing 1-0 in the three-match series and the men in blue are under immense pressure to perform. Not to forget the history of the Eden Gardens where India has not won a single match against Pakistan played here in the last 25 years.

On the other hand Pakistan after defeating India in the first ODI is brimming with confidence and would like to wrap up the series with a win.

Meanwhile, India despite the defeat has drawn some positives and would like to capitalise on it in order to win the match and keep the series alive. Dhoni returning to form with an incredible century in the first ODI has instilled a lot of confidence in the team especially the batting department which has failed miserably in the recent past.

Dhoni’s men very well know that scoring runs would not be easy against a disciplined Pakistani bowling attack. The bowling trio of Junaid khan, Umar Gul and Mohammad Irfan will be the major hurdle India needs to face against Pakistan. All eyes will be on Junaid Khan who had shattered India’s top batting line up in the first ODI. Not to forget Nasir Jamshed who had scored a fantastic century at Chennai.

Keeping this in mind India has to really pull themselves up against Pakistan and win the match if they want to keep their hopes alive in the series.
