Bhopal: Around 30 passengers were injured after five coaches of Mumbai-bound Udyog Nagri Express derailed near a station in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidhisha district on Monday morning.

“Seven among the injured are critical, relief is being provided at the station," said Superintendent of Police, Railway, I P Arjaria.

The train (12173) was coming from Lucknow when it derailed near Sorai station, about 70 km from here, at around 6.30 am.
This is the third rail accident in less than a month in Madhya Pradesh.

An express train hit a water tanker in Gwalior district on Sunday and on April 18, a Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express had caught fire in the state.
