Betiah: Police have seized 3.35 quintal ganja from various places in Bihar's West Champaran district and held a Nepalese contraband smuggler in this connection, a police officer said.

Acting on a tip off, the police raided various places under Gopalpur, Sikta and Mainatand police station and Purushottmapur outpost area last night and seized the haul of ganja, valued at about Rs 35 lakhs in international market, Superintendent of Police (SP) Sunil Naik Meghawat said.

A contraband smuggler and a native of Barwa village of Nepal's Parsa district has been arrested in this connection, the SP said.
