Kochi: The four-day National Executive of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the BJP's student wing, will be held here from May 24.

Student leaders from all states, educationists, representatives of World Organization of Students and Youth would attend the meet, K N Reghunandhan, National Joint Organising secretary, ABVP told reporters here.

Apart from analysing the organizational activities and planning the future course of action, the meeting would deliberate on the current national situation, educational reforms, he said.

Problems faced by North Eastern states, lack of educational opportunities in the North East and difficulties faced by students from these states will be the subject matter of another resolution. The present national scenario will be dealt with in the third resolution.

There will be two special speeches on ‘Global Warming’ and Jammu & Kashmir scenario. The National Executive will also discuss about the future action plan of the Youth Against Corruption movement launched by ABVP. Discussion about the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda will also take place. The National Executive Council meet will be preceded by a two day meeting of All India Office Bearers.
