Noida: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati will sound the bugle for the forthcoming Assembly polls with her visit to Noida on October 14. Amidst 50,000 BSP workers and locals of nearby villages, the Dalit icon will launch new schemes for the district at Central Park.

In an important meeting chaired by Noida Development Authority, Chairman and CEO Balwinder Kumar, the party functionaries and senior officials chalked out the plan for the Chief Minister’s visit.

“The Chief Minister will launch two dozen important projects for the district. On the occasion, many prominent personalities and senior leaders from Muradabad, Aligarh, Agra, Meerut and Saharanpur will remain present. Therefore, preparations are made according to the massive crowd which is expected to gather at the park,” said Balwinder Kumar.

Reportedly, as per the plan, the Chief Minister will reach Noida via helicopter and will go to Central Park, Sector 95 by road.  The BSP leader will address the party workers and unveil the important development projects for the state.  Later, Mayawati will head towards Greater Noida University.

In order to avoid traffic snarl near the park vicinity, the route from sector 14 flyover towards expressway (outside Central Park) will remain close two hours before Mayawati’s visit.
