Ranchi,Jan 28(Agencies): A special CBI court on Friday convicted 58 fodder scam accused which included seven women for fraudulently withdrawing over Rs eight crore from Chaibasa Treasury in the early 1990s.
    
Delivering the verdict, the court of RR Tripathy also acquitted three accused in the RC 49A/96 case.

Former Animal Husbandry officials RN Barman,Kameshwar Prasad Singh,Audhesh Kumar Singh and NR Prasad Sinha were sentenced to three years'rigorous imprisonment and were also slapped a fine between Rs 50,000 and Rs one lakh by the court.
    
The court also pronounced equal prison term against nineteen fodder suppliers including seven women, while imposing a fine up to Rs 4.5 lakh.
    
The court would pronounce the quantum of sentence against the rest 35 on Saturday.
