New Delhi: A juvenile among six accused in Delhi gang rape case reportedly has been admitted to Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan hospital after he was beaten up by inmates in juvenile home.

According to the sources, the minor was brutally assaulted and manhandled by juvenile home inmates. Following which, the minor was admitted to LJN hospital where he has undergone stomach surgery.

However, hospital staff denies such reports. According to the doctors, the minor complained of stomach ache after which he has undergone appendix operation.

A senior official of administrative department has confirmed that the appendix has been removed from his stomach. Meanwhile, he denied of any information related to beating up of the accused in the juvenile home.

The hospital staff informed that the health report of the juvenile has been handed over to Juvenile Justice Board by hospital administration. The minor has been admitted to the surgical ward at third floor in the hospital under tight vigil, hospital staff further added.

The juvenile accused in the brutal gang rape-cum-murder of 23 year paramedic on December 16 was arrested by Delhi police on December 21 after which he has been kept in juvenile home situated at Lajpat Nagar area of New Delhi.
