New Delhi: The Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has allocated Rs 2 crore for providing loans to those belonging to the scheduled castes for self-employment.
The corporation has decided to provide loans to 650 people of scheduled castes in the current fiscal.
According to District Deputy Commissioner, ML Kaushik, the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation provides loans to people for self-employment.
Kaushik said, “In the last year, loans worth Rs 2,90,31,000 were distributed to 683 persons of the Scheduled Castes in the district till March. In addition, a subsidy of Rs 45,28,000 was provided under the state government policy along with a total appreciable amount of Rs 9,31,000 was handed over to them.”
He said, people belonging to the scheduled caste can avail the facility to earn their livelihood.
