It was a planned murder:Slain DSP’s wife

Deoria: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s consolation failed to dispel the anger of slain DSP, Zia-ul-Haq’s wife Parveen who alleged that her husband was killed in a well planned manner.

“My husband was killed in a cold blood. Before killing my husband, his clothes were taken off. His body was dumped to wheat field” said the wife of slain DSP. She also questioned the motive of then Superintendent of Police who had turned down her husband’s leave application. In a dramatic change, the SP approved the leave just before the brutal incident.

The Haq family was scared since the posting at Kanda. The DSP had tightened noose against the sand mining mafias. My husband’s style of functioning irked the Kunda MLA who started to exert political influence on the administration leading to his untimely death, added Parveen.

The political leaders keep visiting Parveen to console her. The wife of slain DSP, Zia-ul-Haq repeatedly blames Raja Bhaiya for the killing of her husband. Parveen also puts questions on the motives of the police and the state government for not taking any action against Raja Bhaiya after the four days of incident.

Akhilesh Yadav on Monday visited Parveen who paid respect to the Chief Minister. Akhilesh promised to take action against the guilty. On being asked about CM’s visit, Parveen said that Akhilesh assured me of conducting transparent investigation into the case. The slain DSP, Zia-ul-Haq’s wife hoped for justice in the case.
