New Delhi: At least 15 members, including four women, of activist Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were arrested in Delhi for rioting, the police said on Thursday.

"The AAP members pelted stones at Gokulpuri police station in east Delhi Wednesday evening while protesting against a rape case," a police officer said.

They also tried to enter the police station and damaged a police vehicle, the officer added.

The protesters were arrested and sent to Tihar jail late on Wednesday. The rape case pertained to the gang-rape of a 20-year-old newly-married woman by four men in front of her husband on Tuesday.

Two of the accused were arrested while the hunt was on to nab the others.
