Reportedly, Aamir always wanted to learn tap dancing. He learnt this tough form of dancing from professional tap dancer in Australia.

Insiders at the production house said when Aamir told producer Aditya Chopra about his dream, the producer asked him to follow his long-waited dream of learning tap dancing seriously so that he could incorporate it into the film as well.

A source close to Aamir says, “He always wanted to learn tap dance and it’s not easy. One has to practice it every day. He had mentioned it to Aditya and Vijay (director of Dhoom 3) that he wanted to learn tap dancing and they decided to make him dance for Dhoom 3. It requires a lot of practice.”

Apart from Aamir Khan, who plays the anti-hero in the film, and Katrina Kaif, both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their now iconic roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. Dhoom 3 is slated to release on December 20.
