The Aamir Khan starrer which continues to perform well at the Indian box office has earned Rs 214.14 crore making it the highest grosser for a non-holiday release this year.

Featuring Aamir Khan as an alien, the film takes a hard hitting swipe at organised religion, god and godmen. 'PK' which is a satire on God and Godman, also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.

However, the film which is amidst several controversies got positive response from the audience and critics for its gripping storyline and powerful performances.

Produced by Vinod Chopra Films and helmed by Rajkumar Hirani Films 'PK' released on December 19 and since then it has been soaring high at the box office.
