According to the sources, bookings usually open on Monday for single screens and on Wednesday for multiplexes, but advance bookings for thriller-suspense movie Talaash opened at all theatres (except the ones in Chennai) on Monday, four days prior to the movie’s release.

The most awaited thriller movie’s satellite rights have already been sold out for 40 crores. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported on Twitter that Talaash will have around 2,500 screens release in India and more than 450 screens overseas. He also confirmed that the movie will open in Pakistan, along with other international venues.

Girish Wankhede, national marketing head, Cinemax India Ltd., said in a statement, "Owing to strong buzz and humungous inquiries from cinegoers, we opened the advance booking for “Talaash” on Sunday pan India at all our Cinemax multiplexes.

The response was quite amazing as we were able to book around 700 tickets on the very first day. Lot of corporate bookings and bulk bookings are also happening. We are very upbeat and foresee another big blockbuster.”

In fact, Aamir also try to keep this Talaash’s suspense secret as he appeals not to reveal the plot of this movie to his fans who watched it before release.
