The Aam Aadmi Party has now asked Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung to find an amicable solution to this issue as early as possible.

After the Supreme Court declared that Jung had all the decision-making powers in this regard, senior AAP leader Prashant Bhushan wrote a letter to the Lt Governor, urging him to take a swift decision in this matter so that Delhites could have an elected/popular government.

Even Kejriwal had previously written a letter to the Lt Governor and requested him to give orders of fresh assembly elections in Delhi.

Referring to Congress’ stance in this regard in his letter, Bhushan wrote that the grand old party is neither in the position to form government nor it has any intention of supporting any other rival party.

Bhushan also mentioned in his letter to Jung that the BJP had said in the court that it had not received an invitation from the Lt Governor to talk about the latest political state of affairs in the nation capital.

The BJP would make its stance clear on this matter only once it gets a formal invitation from the Lt Governor, Bhushan wrote in his letter.

Bhushan urged Jung to invite BJP leaders to know their stand on this issue and then take a decision over keeping the Delhi Assembly suspended or organise fresh elections here.
