AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal appealed to "honest" people from all spheres and political parties including Congress and BJP to join his party in the fight against corruption.

In his address, Kejriwal called upon businessmen, entrepreneurs, social organisations and industrialists to join AAP, as the party alone can’t clean the mess in whole country. “This country needs good people,” he said.

Kejriwal also urged people to ‘donate generously’ as his party would need more funds to contest the 2014 general elections.

“This fight (assembly election) could not be fought without your donations. We will now contest Lok Sabha polls and request you to donate generously. For this, we would open website for online donations," he said.

AAP spokesperson Manish Sisodia, who won from Patparganj assembly seat, earlier addressing the gathering said that his party was ready to face any Congress or BJP bigwigs in the Lok Sabha elections.

"If needed, we would not shy from fielding our member Kumar Vishwas against Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha elections," he said.

AAP emerged as the second largest party in the Delhi Assembly polls by winning 28 seats.
