"People should get a third option to vote apart from (Congress vice president) Rahul Gandhi, and (Bharatiya Janata Party prime ministerial candidate) Narendra Modi", Yadav told reporters outside the Constitution Club here on the sidelines of AAP's National Executive meet.

Asked if he would like to see Arvind Kejriwal as the Prime Minister, he said, “We have again and again said that Rahul and Modi's fight (for the post) is unfortunate. My dream is to see Kejriwal as Prime Minister. He is capable of it but in politics one has to see ....strength and where we stand. The country must have better options than this.”
Yadav, however, said it was important to look at the party's support and the capability of the leader who is projected as the PM candidate.
Aam Aadmi Party is currently chalking out its plans and strategies to build a national perspective for the general elections.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh said the first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections should be out in 10 to 15 days.

Commenting on the National Executive meet, Yogendra Yadav said :“It is the first meeting of the national executive which is our highest decision-making body of the party so the idea would be to review what we did in Delhi and to plan for the Lok Sabha elections, to have a national perspective.”
“There are also some organisation matters to be settled,” he added.

AAP, which has already decided to fight all the seats in Gujarat, will also contest in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Apart from Delhi, key party functionaries from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana and Tamil Nadu are present in the meeting.

Other than Kejriwal, his ministerial colleague Manish Sisodia and senior AAP members Yogendra Yadav, Anjali Damania and Mayank Gandhi are attending the meeting.
