Two others have been sentenced to life imprisonment and three others were awarded eight years jail term, besides penalties.
Judge SL Anekar, who had found the 12 accused guilty on July 28, announced the quantum of punishment on Tuesday at a packed courtroom. Eight others in the case were acquitted.

Earlier, The Mumbai court held the accused guilty for illegal possession of 30 kg RDX, 3200 live bullets, and 10 Rifles. The pile of weapons and explosives was seized by Maharashtra ATS team in 2006.

However, The Mumbai court dropped the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). The trial of the case began in 2013 when Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) operative and alleged 26/11 plotter Syed Zabiuddin aka Abu Jundal was arrested.

Abu Jundal is a suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist who allegedly masterminded the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. He during his trial in Delhi High Court said that he wants to shift to Delhi after the completion of the trial.
