"Catwalk make-up inspires impactful everyday beauty with an edge. Spring/summer 2015 saw the rise of edgy neutral eye make-up with natural hues like sienna, chestnut, copper or bronze designed to enhance your eye colour," said Hurer.

According to the expert, one can easily use this trend by simply applying shadow directly on to the eyelid and bring it up to the brow. Be bold and add another layer if you dare. Pink and purple shading was another big trend.

"Use a subtle pink-purple to bring out the gold tones in green or hazel eyes, a bright plum to create contrast for dark eyes or try a purple with bronze undertones for blue eyes. Apply sparingly - a sheer wash of colour to draw attention to the eyes," said Hurer.

Finally, standalone black eyeliner made a runway comeback."Worn in isolation, eyeliner makes a big statement - be it smoky, flicked or displaced.
