Parineeti who is looking forward for the success of her film said she is confident that the audience will love the film.

Speaking at the event the male protagonist Aditya Roy Kapoor said that 'Daawat-E-Ishq' has all the essential ingredients required for a romantic saga revolving around food.

The duo flagged off the 'food tour' on Friday morning. The actors who visited Surat were also to visit Vadodara but the weather played spoilsport.

"Vadodara was very much on our itinerary and we were excited to visit the city while the administration promised full support, we felt it will be a lot of pressure on them while they are tackling natural calamities," Aditya said.

The two stars will now directly go to Ahmedabad from Surat.

The film, a romantic comedy, revolves around Gulrez 'Gullu', played by Parineeti, a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl disillusioned with love because of her encounters with dowry-seeking men and Tariq 'Taru' Haidar (Aditya Roy Kapoor), a Lucknawi cook who can charm anybody with the aroma and flavours of his biryani and kebabs.

Helmed by Habib Faisal produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the movie is scheduled to release on 19 September.
