As the name of the film suggests ‘Dawaat-E-Ishq’ is based on a food theme. Aditya and Parineeti promoted their film in a Dawaat-E-Ishq style and appeared on the sets with inviting Mughlai delicacies.

The stars were successful in spreading the flavours of ‘Dawaat-E-Ishq’ on the sets of ‘Jhalak’ as they synced in with contestants and enjoyed their performances.

The stars also had great time with judges Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza.

Parineeti particularly complimented Shakti Mohan for being a ‘graceful dancer’.

The film, a romantic comedy, revolves around Gulrez 'Gullu', played by Parineeti, a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl disillusioned with love because of her encounters with dowry-seeking men and Tariq 'Taru' Haidar (Aditya Roy Kapoor), a Lucknawi cook who can charm anybody with the aroma and flavours of his biryani and kebabs.

Helmed by Habib Faisal the movie is slated to release in September.
