Bhopal: In a major step that would ease admissions in colleges and universities in the state, Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Ministry has directed the educational institutions to enroll students on temporary basis in various courses.

It is supposed that the move has been prompted due to delay in the publication of results of last semester of UG courses. Remarkably, Higher Education Ministry has fixed June 10 for seeking admission in various courses.

All the universities of the state are not inclined to publish results of the first semester before June 30.

If it remains so, it would make admission pocess in PG courses difficult. Taking this into considerations, higher education ministry has worked out a plan so that all students may be able to seek admission in various courses on a temporary basis.

All the more only those students will be able to seek admissions who have cleared all the semesters without a fail.

Bhopal University has claimed that it would publish results latest by June 15  and those willing to sit in Pre-engineering Test (PET) and Pre-medical Test (PMT) will have to take admission in the first semester till the last date in case they miss the deadline. Therefore, Higher education department has been mandated to get admission in Science College on alternative basis.

At the same time, fees would be refunded to those students whose admission is declared null and void due to their admission in either medical or engineering courses.
