Srinagar: BJP veteran L K Advani, who on Thursday made a thinly veiled attack on party president Nitin Gadkari, on Friday received support from former party chief Rajnath Singh.

"Advaniji is the senior most leader of the party. Whatever he suggested, whatever he said, I accept it humbly," Singh said.

He was talking to reporters here during his visit to the state as part of a BJP delegation which is preparing the party's "vision document" for Jammu and Kashmir.

Advani appeared to be hitting out at Gadkari when he said in his blog that the party's campaign against corruption had been "undermined" due to induction of an ousted BSP leader facing graft charges.

The BJP stalwart had posted in his blog that the party had not risen to the occasion at a time when there was anger against the UPA government over various scams.
