Jaipur: As the BJP senior leader Lal Krishna Advani’s Rathyatra entered Rajasthan, the state Congress leaders have started firing salvos on him. Terming Advani’s Rathyatra as drama, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, “Instead of Jan Chetana Yatra, he should take out peace and repentance yatra.”

While talking to reporters Gehlot said, “There was enough blood-shed happened before his yatra. Many ministers of his party are facing graft allegations, and some of them are facing jail term. Now he has come to Rajasthan with corruption issue, while there were umpteenth cases of graft and malpractices during the BJP regime.”

“Former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat had alleged Vasundhara Raje government for taking money from his relatives,” he added.

Gehlot said, “People might have got impression that he is moving by roads for Jan Chetana Yatra, but in reality he is using airplanes and helicopters for his yatra.”

On his Jodhpur tour former Gujarat Chief Minister Shankar Singh Vaghela said, “The BJP campaigning against corruption is itself involved in graft.”
