Kochi: It seems that controversy has a soft corner for director Rupesh Paul. After the censor board’s knife on his debut film Saint Dracula 3D, the Paul directed movie has landed in fresh trouble. And this time, for hurting religious sentiments.

Saint Dracula 3D is slated to release on March 29 and the film has already got the ‘A’ certificate due to the horror elements and for its intimate scenes.

Hitting over 450 big screens all over India in 5 languages -  English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu, movie portrays the church in a poor light and exhibits the central character, a nun, in intimate scenes with dracula. Few Christian organisations in Kerala and Goa have already raised objection against the nude posters. Some of the hot stills and scenes from the movie have already blazed up the web world and social networking sites, even before its release.

Director Rupesh Paul bags the credit for its story and screenplay, where as the entire project is designed by Sohan Roy, the director of BizTV Network’s first film, DAM 999. Defying the normal convictions which define ‘Dracula’, the movie has secured the honour of being the first 3D movie on dracula and with the help of the latest 3D technologies it is bound to create a new impact of horror effect in the international level with a flavour of romance.
