In a press statement, Noida based company has confirmed that the booking will be open only for one-day and will be done via company’s website. The delivery of Freedom 9900 HD LED TV will start from August 16 and the product will be delivered in the cash-on-delivery mode.

“We are expecting good response for the television and assure our customers that they will get a quality product in the price that they never thought of in the current market scenario,” the company spokesperson stated in a press statement. "Like our handset, we are expecting a good response for the television and assure our customers that they will get a quality product in an affordable price in the current market scenario," it added.

Ringing Bells Freedom 9900 TV features a 31.5-inch display with a HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. The TV comes with 2 HDMI, 2 USB ports and 2 speakers. Ringing Bells claims this is the cheapest television in the market but we have seen new entrants like Daiwa, Kodak, InFocus offer similar specifications at less that Rs 10,000 price tag.

Ringing Bells had created wave in the handsets market by launching the world’s cheapest Freedom 251 smartphone at Rs. 251 only. They were also in the news for the wrong reasons as they could not deliver the phone in time and had to return the advance money to the customers. But of late, they have started the deliveries. That’s why the company is not taking any advance amount for pre-booking of their TV and will be delivering the TV on cash on delivery basis.
