The meeting has left not only his fans but others also speculating the reason behind Salman, who has so far maintained distance from politics, meeting a political leader.

According to sources, the actor is scheduled to meet the chief ministers of some other states in the coming day as he apparently wants his upcoming movie ‘Jai Ho’ to be tax free. After Gujarat, he is likely to visit Uttar Pradesh and the national capital.

As per reports, ‘Jai Ho’ is about uniting Indians against social injustice. The Dabangg star wants this movie to reach the maximum people so that they can bond well with each other.

Salman wants ticket prices to go down between Rs 150-200 but unfortunately he does not have a say in that.

"It is in the hands of the theater owners and distributors. We wanted to get it (ticket prices) down," he said last week.

Directed by Sohail Khan, 'Jai Ho' also features newcomer Daisy Shah, Tabu, Suniel Shetty and Danny Denzongpa. The film is scheduled to be released on January 24.
