Jalandhar: Only a few days after a BJP member was booked for posting a morphed picture of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, another similar incident involving Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has come to the light.

This time, a complaint has been registered for uploading a morphed picture of Rahul Gandhi on a social networking site by another BJP activist.

A case has been registered in this connection on the complaint of one Rajesh Agnihotri. In his complaint, Agnihotri has said that a resident of Killa Mohalla has uploaded a morphed picture of the Congress vice-president.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case against BJP leader Sandeep Bhalla for posting Sonia Gandhi’s morphed picture. According to Jatinder Pal Singh, SHO of police station division number 3 in Jalandhar, the police conducted raids on Tuesday to arrest the BJP leader but in vain.

It is to be noted that a case was registered against Bhalla under Section 66A of the Information Technology Act on the complaint of RTI activist and local Congress leader Sanjay Sehgal.
