New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Police have launched operations to trace the Agriculture Extension Officer Ramesh Jaroliya, who was disappeared on June 12.

Ramesh, posted in Mumsom in Morena district after he left his residence for office, police said.

Police informed that a phone call from an anonymous caller to Pradeep, Ramesh’s son, on Thursday confirmed that he has been abducted. Dacoits have demanded a ransom of Rs 15 lakh to release Ramesh.

A kidnapping case was registered at the local Pargar police station on Tuesday.
