New Delhi:  The passengers who were to leave for UAE at IGI airport on Monday evening had to face huge inconvenience as 30 passengers were denied to board the flight due the low-capacity aircraft which could accommodate only 110 passengers.

In a bid pacify irate passengers, the airline authority bundled out them to a five star hotel located near the airport, who were sent to UAE by the second flight.
According to the sources, on Sunday, 140 people booked tickets with Air India flight for Dubai. The passengers were surprised on the announcement of the low-capacity flight which could accommodate only 110 passengers.

According to the spokesman of Indian Airlines, such situation occurs normally while traveling by airlines. However, the authority has ensured that the passengers do not face any inconvenience.

He said, the people accommodated in five star hotel have been sent to their destination by another plane.
