Jamshedpur: In an attempt to put a rein on students migrating to other states in search of higher education, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) (JVM) MP Ajay Kumar has written a letter to the Jharkhand Chief Minister, Arjun Munda demanding a private university bill in the state soon.

In a letter sent to the Chief Minister recently, Kumar urged Munda to come over party line and initiate steps taking all political party leaders into confidence to pass the private university bill, which would not only check large number of students moving out of Jharkhand to other states in search of higher education but also enhance the state’s revenue.

Kumar, the Lok Sabha Member from Jamshedpur said the state was losing huge revenue as well as human resources owing to the students migration to other state.

We will be able to check the students migration by providing quality education and ensure their employment in the state if we could get the private university bill through in the state cabinet, he said.

JVM leader further stated that several states had already implemented the bill.
