Meerut: Akhilesh Yadav seems to be in no mood to waste time. Soon after being nominated by his party for the post of UP Chief Minister, Akhilesh has begun his mission to uproot the lawlessness from the state as promised in the party manifesto. Now he has strictly asked the party workers not to misuse the party flags and banners for mere showoff.

In the fresh mandate to the party cadres, it has been said that except the party MLAs, MLCs, MPs, district and state presidents and national office bearers of the party, none of the party workers or leaders will be allowed to install the party flags on their vehicles. No one will be allowed to publish their visiting cards. MLAs and ministers have also been barred from installing party hoarding in their constituencies. Strict actions will be taken against those who will be found with the hooters or flouting the orders.

SP leaders Shahid Manzoor and Jaiveer Singh confirmed that they have received clear orders from the party high command that no convoy of any public servant or a minister should cause traffic jam.

700 SP flags sold in a day

After the victory of the Samajwadi Party in UP, about 600 to 700 party flags are being sold in Lucknow a day. Jaiveer Singh said that all such activities will be checked after March 15, the day CM-incumbent, Akhilesh Yadav, assumes his office.
