New Delhi: Time will tell about the fortune of the new government in Uttar Pradesh under Akhilesh Yadav who is set to assume his office on Thursday, but the Chief Minister-designate has already prepared a roadmap of his new government by enlisting his priorities.

It is expected that soon after taking oath of his office, Akhilesh Yadav can make several crucial announcements to fulfill the promises made by his party during the assembly elections campaign trails.

The sources say that the foremost priority of the 38-years-old CM-designate will be to fulfill all the poll promises made by his party.

It is believed that the promises made by the Samajwadi Party to farmers and students are likely to be among the top priorities of the next government under Akhilesh Yadav.

The new CM can start with the announcement of loan waiver up to Rs 50,000 and free availability of water for irrigation purposes to the famers, sources claimed.

Given the poor financial condition of the state government, Yadav can also ask his cabinet colleagues for heavy reduction in their expenses.

The poll promise for providing free education for every child up to class 12th level besides providing them with free laptops can also be announced by the young CM on Thursday after the oath taking ceremony.
