Lucknow: To make the Janta Darshan programme of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav more effective, Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday decided to hold it on the first and last week of every month.
   
"The Janta Darshan programme of Yadav was very successful with over 5000 persons giving applications on their grievances. Now, it has been decided to hold it on the first and last week of everyone month", an official spokesman said here.
   
The spokesperson added that the time of the next Janta Darshan would be from 8 am to 10 am on May 2. He said that the CM had given stern directions to the concerned officials to look into all the applications that were received in his programme and redress their problems and also inform his secretariat about its progress.
