New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has set a deadline before state officials to improve the law and order situation in the state within 15 days. After taking oath as Chief Minister of the state, Akhilesh Yadav had promised to the people of the state to give a peaceful ambience and improved law and order.
Yadav on Friday convened a meeting of state officials which was attended by 500 senior IPS and IAS officers. The meeting was attended by district magistrates and police chiefs of 75 districts. Yadav also took stock of the implementation of the state government's development schemes.
After registering a landslide victory in March during state assembly polls, Akhilesh Yadav had promised that he would fulfill all the promises of the made in the party manifesto.
