The Honda Civic 2016 is the most comprehensive remake in the history of Civic cars. The new Civic is covered with new metal sheets, rides on an entirely new platform and has two new engine options.

It's larger, yet lighter and even more fuel-efficient. Sweet-handling and fun to drive, the Civic deserves serious consideration from many enthusiasts.

This time Honda will give a diesel engine option as well to Indian costumers. Though, there is no official word about the re-launch of the sedan in the country.

Based on a new platform, the 2016 Civic will feature distinctive design elements such as Honda’s Flying H front design with a chrome grille, a long bonnet, revised bumpers and C-pillars and LED boomerang taillights.

For global markets, the new Civic will be available with a new 1.5-litre VTEC turbocharged engine with a CVT transmission. If launched in India, the saloon might get a 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel powertrain with an estimated Price range of Rs. 12 lakh – Rs 16 lakh.

Feature list also include an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED headlamps, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, airbags for all occupants, traction control, etc.
