Etawah: Taking a potshot at Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav in his bastion at Etawah, the national president of the Rashtriya Lokmanch Amar Singh said the former has a history of deceiving people who have supported him.

Addressing a public rally here on Sunday, Singh accused the SP supremo of promoting dynastic politics in the state. He maintained that people of Uttar Pradesh are annoyed with the performance of Bahujan Samaj Party and Samajwadi Party, and they were looking forward to a change in the state government.

Slamming Yadav, he said his former party chief had instigated him against the Congress party earlier, adding “But he now speaks a different language altogether.”

Interestingly, few days back Yadav had extended support to Singh over his alleged involvement in the cash-for-vote scam. “By extending support, Yadav tried to put forth that Rewati Raman Singh and I have no individual identity,” he added

Singh further said, “I am dedicated to the field of politics and spoke the truth before people and police”.

Expressing concern over the possibilities of a hung UP Assembly in 2012, Singh said Rashtriya Lokmanch along with other parties would try to provide an alternative to the Mayawati government.
