Amritsar: Lashing out at Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal over rampant corruption in the state, former Chief Minister and Punjab Congress president, Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday invited social activist Anna Hazare to visit the state.

Talking to reporters at the residence of former MLA Jasbir Singh Dimpa, Singh alleged that CM Prakash Singh Badal and Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal are involved in rampant corruption.

Commenting on the Right to Services Act in the state, the former CM said, “The accountability should be fixed for the ministers too under the Act.”

In a letter to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, he sought bonus in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of paddy.

The Congress leader informed that party will organize ‘Panjab Bachao Yatra’ (Save Punjab Journey) from November 1.
