Dubbed as ‘postmodern interpretation’ by the company’s founder Tom Scarpello, it looks like the original car from the outside and has been fitted with everything from that period right down to the five-spoke steel wheels.

The body design has been licensed by Ford , which is making this car the closest thing to buying a restored classic Mustang.

While the external design has been kept in the original state, Revology have fitted the car with a modern, fuel-injected, thumping 5.0-litre V8 engine which by our guesses will be pumping out around 550bhp. The engine can be mated to a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic. It also gets three-link rear suspension, Macpherson struts in front as well as disc brakes on all four wheels.

The interior has been designed in the classic form but now gets all modern features central locking, power seats, infotainment system, AC and remote keyless entry. In the company’s terms, they have tried to keep the modern amenities minimally intrusive so as not to disturb the classic design.

This Mustang replica  has been priced at 119, 500 USD (Rs 75 lakh).
