New Delhi: The fertilizer major IFFCO on Friday said that it will not raise the prices of fertilizers despite cut in the subsidy rates on the crop nutrients given by the government.

“There will be no hike in the prices of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) and complex fertilizers as of now despite cut in the subsidies given on them,” said IFFCO Managing Director Uday Shanker Awasthi.

Awasthi further said that IFFCO is exploring for options to import raw materials so that the prices of the fertilizers are not hiked.

Highlighting the motive of the fertilizer major, he said, “IFFCO is the country’s largest cooperative of farmers which always looks forward to assist them.”
