The Finance Minister's speech was marred by protests from the TRS and TDP members and also ministers from Telangana who were on their feet against the rejection of the draft
Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill by the Assembly in last session.
The members alleged that the bill was rejected by a voice vote sans their consent. The minister chose not to read the prepared budget speech fully in view of the protests and indicated it could be treated as read.
